Conference Time

We LOVE LOVE LOVE General Conference around here! It's so nice to spend the entire weekend at home with the family listening to amazing speakers and feeling the spirit. We did our conference bags again and the kids really enjoyed it. It has been a great way to keep them in the room with us and it is helping them to learn the 1st Presidency and Quorum of the twelve apostles names and faces.

We are so BLESSED to have a Living Prophet on the earth today that is a mouth piece for the Lord.

One of the bags had Pop Rocks in it! The kids had fun!

Another bag had these pipe cleaners in it. The kids really enjoy playing with pipe cleaners. They are all so creative!

Busy Week

Claudia had a busy week last week. Along with preschool and Let's Play Music, she also had her annual check up at the doctor's and her 1st ever dentist appointment. She did AMAZING at both. She was so brave at the doctor's. She got 2 vaccines in each arm and a finger prick. She did not once complain or cry about the shots in her arms. But she did keep saying her finger hurt.

Then at the dentist she did such a great job holding still and being so good while they checked and cleaned her teeth. The dentist and his hygienist did a really good job. They walked her through the whole thing and told her what each tool was and how they were going to use it. She is such a fun and brave little girl. Often times I forget that she is only 4, she is so smart and curious.

She's FINALLY 4

Claudia finally had her birthday and turned the big 4. She thought she already was 4 and was hoping to be 5. She is so Funny. She has a fun and outgoing personality. She LOVES LOVES LOVES people. She asks to talk to just about anyone in sight. She tells crazy made up stores and is my pickiest eater yet.

John and I were once again gone for her birthday.Well not the whole day. But part of it. We had a wedding to photograph in Malibu so she got to spend the morning at preschool. She took chocolate cupcakes with yellow frosting to share. It was yellow day at school. Then I dropped her off at my brother and sister-n-laws house and she got the spend the rest of the day and night with them. They spoiled her with pizza, cookies, and ice cream. I think she had a pretty good birthday despite mommy and daddy being gone.

A couple days after her actual birthday we went to Red Robin as a family to celebrate. They sang to her and brought her an ice cream sundae. She was surprisingly shy when they sang and then didn't even touch her ice cream. Charles gladly took it off her hands.

We love our crazy little Claudia!!!!

Preschool Time

Claudia has been so EXCITED to finally start preschool. It was really hard for her that she didn't start until a week after the big kids. She did great on the 1st day and continues to enjoy it. Katelyn is still a bit sad when we drop her off but she gets over it really fast. I know Miss Heather will do Amazing things for Claudia, it's going to be a Great year!!!!

1st Day of School

Since I am Really behind on blogging I decided to just start today and move forward and I'll try to catch up on the last few months in the process otherwise I'll just keep getting more and more behind.

This past week the two big kids started school. I can not believe I have a 4th and 2nd grader.

Where does the time!

The little girls insisted on being in the photo. They are so bummed that they are not going to school with the kids. But Claudia will be starting preschool this week and she is VERY VERY excited about it! Katelyn's going to be in for a big surprise when all 3 big kids are gone.
