~9 Months~

Our Beautiful Miss Katelyn turned 9 months this past weekend.

 I really LOVE this stage. They grow and change SO MUCH!!! 

Since my last Katelyn post 3 months go she has changed a TON!!!

She began crawling around 7 1/2-8 months and just a few days ago she started pulling herself up to standing. She still has NO teeth, but I am totally okay with that. She babbles a lot and says Mamama and Dadada. She has been trying lots of different foods but it still kinda picky. She loves to feed herself Cheerios or Gerber Puffs. We've been sporting the ponytail hair style more often now to keep her hair out of her face. It's actually grown on me! She still have one clogged tear duct. The other cleared up on its own. At one year the doctor will refer us to a specialist if it doesn't go away on its own.
Claudia loves playing with her and the big kids love to carry her around like a doll.

TOTALLY Random

 Claudia really needs NAPS but if she takes one she tends to stay up ALL night (until 11 PM, not OK!) So instead she falls asleep all over the place. I'm still trying to figure out the best solution!

 Madison's was studying about transportation and wheels and how things work along with recycling. So she was assigned to make an automobile that has wheels out of things she found around the house. 

This is what we came up with.

 John's sister Jennie had a Beautiful baby girl named Kayla on March 19th. She is adorable and the kids already LOVE her!!!

 Little Miss Claudia LOVES all things out doors. 

Right now her current obsessions are the spray bottle and bubbles.

Dad and Grandpa = Papa

On February 16th John's dad passed away. It was pretty unexpected. But we know he is in a better place and we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with him again. 

The funeral and burial services were AMAZING!!! The spirit of the Lord was present and we felt loved by all who Love our Papa! 

Raincross 5K

John and I are training to run a Half Marathon with some friends in June. So we thought running a 5K would be a great start to our training. And we turned it into a whole family affair. The race received a grant to pay for the kids to run the Kids Fun Run for FREE!!! Who doesn't LOVE Free!!! We do!!!

The kids were very excited to participate. And they each did a great job!!!

Our friend Rose watched the kids while we ran the 5K and then John ran with the kids in the FUN RUN.

Lunch date with Daddy

The kids had a 4 day weekend in February so we picked up some Chinese Food and met Daddy for lunch at the park. It was a gorgeous day and the kids enjoyed playing!
