Couponers PLEASE Help!!!

I've been doing this couponing thing for about 2 months now and love the GREAT deals I am getting but I feel about overwhelmed with all the coupons. I'd like to know how you organize/store your coupons and what blogs/websites you use to find the best deals??? Also, do you go out once a week and hit up ALL the stores or go on different days. What works for you to make couponing not so overwhelming????
Can't wait to hear your feedback!!! Thanks!!!

Jess...I am a coupon-aholic :)

My fav website is www.thisfrugallife.com

I have two ways that I organize my coupons. I have a file cabinet and I file away the Sunday coupons by date, the website tells u what dates to look up for certain coupons so it makes it easy and u don't have to clip a million coupons.

I also have a notebook with baseball card sleeves in it. I have the pages divided into categories and I use this notebook for loose coupons I have or coupons I clip! Good luck!

The thing I wished I learned early in my couponing adventure is that the deals will come - again, and again, and again. It is so tempting to feel like you need to go buy them all when you see all the stuff you can get for .50...or Free! But, the deals will come around again, so you don't have to get everything each time.

As for organizing, insert filing never did work too well for me. I do way better clipping each week and sorting alphabetically. I actually used a kid's shoebox with index cards labeled A-Z and sorted the coupons that way. I tried the insert method, but if I needed to buy something not on sale and knew there should be a coupon, I was always frustrated that I couldn't find it. I also had a massive coupon binder at one point, but I like the box best.

I have two favorite sites for ya:

www.moneysavingmom.com - I love it in general, and she has seperate RSS feeds for specific stores, which I find useful.

www.grocerysmarts.com - you'll need the passport "g92ro1" to get in. They match the entire sales flyer to coupons availabe. I did grocery game at one point, and find it farily comperable.

Oh, this got really long, sorry. But, as for shopping, I usually just go all in one day or evening after E is in bed. And, I usually max out at about 3 stores a week. Thankfully, those deals keep coming.

All of the BIG "couponers" around here use a zip up notebook and then they put baseball card collector pages in them. That way they can see all of their coupons and they are all in seperate spaces. Then, they use dividers to divide into different sections such as cleaning supplies, dairy, bread, etc. I went to a class on it and this girl says that she just looks through her notebook once a week and pulls out any expired coupons. Oh, and if she has duplicate coupons she puts them together in the same card space, but she puts them in order of when they need to be used. Hope that helps. We have a great website here that tracks everything, but I'm sure California is different. anyway, good luck!
